The Fox and My Boot Book
The inspiration for this sweet story happened a couple of years across the street from me.
I’m so glad that my neighbor Lana got inspired to write this awesome kids book and Janet created the cute drawings for it.
The fox is still around and comes by our house almost every day….
I make the little foxes that can be purchased with the book and you can also buy the book by itself.

The Fox and My Boot is an adaptation of a true story set in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
One warm winter evening Lana decided to go skating on the rink behind her house. She put on her brand new moose hide winter boots and set off down to the rink. Down at the rink Lana encountered a fat red fox. When she was finished skating she noticed that only one boot was there.
Join Lana while she enlists in the help of the animals of the boreal forest to help find her boot in this hilarious classically Canadian tale.
