On this page you will find information about my dolls and the materials that I use to make them.
On my "About me" page I tell you a bit more about myself and how I started to make dolls .
My dolls are inspired by the Waldof (Rudolf Steiner) Philosophy, but they are not Waldorf dolls. The name “Waldorf doll” is a trademark of the free Waldorf schools in Germany since 2002.
Waldorf inspired dolls have simple faces that leave lots of room for the childs imagination.
Through play the child develops and uses her creativity and a strong sense of self.
I make two kinds of dolls
Dolls made with all natural materials
~~ The body is made from 100% cotton jersey knit from Switzerland.
(GLOREX ) This fabric is tested for harmful substances by
Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
~~ For stuffing I use 100% natural sheep wool batting.
~~ The hair is made from a natural wool, like Mohair, Alpaca, sheep, bamboo or cotton.
~~ The eyes and the mouth are embroidered.
~~ These dolls have to be washed by hand with wool soap and air dried in a warm place.
Every doll comes to you with care instructions!
Dolls that include synthetic materials
I decided to make a variation that also includes synthetic fibers.
These dolls are still made with the same love and care though!
They are also a bit cheaper because the material ( Polyester fill and synthetic wool) is cheaper and I can buy them localy.

~~ For stuffing I use in these dolls hypo allergenic Polyester batting
~~ The hair is made from either a natural wool or a synthetic wool
~~ the eyes and the mouth are embroidered.
These dolls can, if nessesary, be mashiene-washed on cold/low tempertaure, and be dried on low temp. in the dryer.

Doll Clothes
Every doll will come to you with a handmade outfit.
I use pre-washed 100% cotton fabrics or cotton velour for my clothes.
Clothes items have Velcro closures .
The shoes are hand knitted from 100% cotton yarn and have a button to close them.
